At Deep Creek stables we offer riding lessons starting at age 7 and up. Our main lessons focus on the Basic Western riding style which is most similar to the style used by cowboys and ranchers in rural America. The horse and tack are provided as part of the lesson package.
Lessons are $25 per lesson. Beginning riders must purchase an introductory package of 6 lessons for a total of $150. They are small group lessons lasting 1 to 1 ½ hours per week. Groups are formed based on age and riding skill level.
After the first 6 lessons are completed, more lessons may be purchased on a monthly basis. Contact instructor and Deep Creek Stables owner, Lee Markley for details and scheduling at 757-323-3725 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
